Indiza - Background

Indiza Media was established in October 2001. In 2002 Altmedia received 49.9% of issued shares in Indiza. The same year, through the Altmedia partnership, Indiza was awarded its first advertising rights by ACSA in Cape Town International Airport.

Indiza has since grown from strength to strength, and currently holds more than 20% of ACSA's concessionaire market share.

In 2003, we made history by becoming the first advertising concessionaire to be awarded the General Managers award; the "Service Provider of the year for 2003".

Primedia Outdoor and Indiza Media

Primedia Outdoor owns 85% of Indiza Media, who currently owens more thatn 20% of ACSA's concessionaires market share

Primedia and Black Empowerment

In 2005 Primedia Outdoor bought 85% of Indiza issued shares. The remaining equity continues to be owned by Mzukisi Deliwe.

In 2007, Primedia Limited was delisted due to the successful negotiation of a Private Equity Deal. This involved the formation of a new private company not listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, namely Primedia (Pty) Ltd of which Primedia Outdoor forms a division.

Total black ownership in Primedia is 49.9% which is a substantial investment in the advancement of black entrepreneurial spirit in business. This private equity deal further reinforced Primedia's status as the top empowerment company. The effective black ownership in Indiza is 54%.
