Winter soccer spectaculars

Primedia Outdoor embraced their outdoor spirit at the soccer spectaculars that took place in July.
The Vodacom Challenge and Carling Black Label Cups took place in the month of July – a treat for all soccer lovers, attracting huge crowds.
The English PSL team, Tottenham Spurs was up against SA’s firm favourites Orlando Pirates and Kazier chiefs, vying for anticipated The Vodacom Challenge trophy. Albeit losing the Cup to Tottenham, the nation stood united behind the finalists Orlando Pirates in a heart wrenching final at the Soccer City stadium.
The new addition to the PSL fixtures, Carling Black Cup really proved that South Africans love soccer and their vuvuzelas! As cold as it was the stadium was packed with Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs supporters rooting for their respective teams.
Kaizer Chiefs fans walked away disappointed when Pirates took another league trophy.
Despite the losses and cold weather, it was all fun and games.
