Construction and Maintenance of Outdoor Structures and Flighting of Advertising Faces
Primedia Outdoor is a specialist outdoor advertising company that owns advertising structures across South Africa.
All operational activities are managed and overseen by the Primedia Operations Management Team in Johannesburg. Regional Managers in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Nelspruit ensure service delivery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Construction of all outdoor advertising structures and components is outsourced to black empowered service providers, employing approximately 350 people. Primedia Outdoor also employs a Structural Engineer who designs and manages the construction of all new structures, utilising only SABS-approved materials that comply with local conditions and ensure the highest safety standards as well as all regulatory requirements
Construction and maintenance teams are fully trained and inspections and maintenance are done on a regular basis to ensure that all structures are in an acceptable condition at all times.
The operational teams are responsible for the flighting of faces on the various advertising structures. In this regard, the Operations team works very closely with the Outdoor Production team to ensure that flighting deadlines are met.
The servicing teams have previously been employed by Primedia and are experienced in all aspects of the scope of work required. They were empowered by Primedia to start their own businesses and are to date very successful in what they do.

A "full time" structural/civil engineer designs and manages the construction of our outdoor advertising structures.
